I’m a Stockholm-based tech journalist, editor-in-chief, author and publishing strategist.
IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU

Latest blog post: AI psychosis is spreading
•••
I’ve been immersed in the media landscape since I was a teenager, when I got my first job for a local newspaper and started my first publication.
I’ve since spent decades inside big mainstream media outlets, including morning newspaper and television news. I’ve developed TV and radio shows, big websites and apps, news feeds, blockchains, and, of course NFTs. You name it, I’ve built it.
Oh, and I was one of the world’s first bloggers, and started the world’s first blog community.
I’m passionate about journalism, publishing, and communication in general, and I’m a member of the Swedish Publicist Club.
As a journalist I’ve been covering everything from the birth of the web in the late 90s to the Pirate Bay debacle and the takeover of social media, to the latest blockchain, metaverse and AI developments.
I lead the editorial staff at Cryptopolitan. I also develop publishing styles and tricks at Webonanza and gather data on Nordic tech developments at NYTTidag.se, among other domains.
Other Places to Find Me
I’ve written blog posts since the 90s. You’ll find the latest here.
I’m also the founder of the Logic Party (Logikpartiet in Swedish), where we develop the future of politics with the help of AI.
I’m also a musician. I’ve taken part in releasing a number of albums; you’ll find some on Discogs.
I’ve toured all over Europe many times in the band Agurk Players (later morhing into Damn!), and I’m a member of both STIM and SAMI.
Trivia: Here’s an old music video where you’ll hear and see me do the scratching if you look closely: ”It Hurts Me So” (Jay-Jay Johanson).
You can also listen to some of my tracks on Soundcloud or Youtube.
I’ve also published a book about technology: Nyfiken i en strut (for 5- to 13-year-olds), where I sort out what technology actually is, compared to for instance discovery. In short: technology is applied knowledge.
Of course I’ve also held a lot of lectures on these subjects. And, yes, I’m a computer nerd and a sci-fi fan. And a traveler. Always heading out. Towards the horizon.
You’ll find my full CV here.
Talk to me on Twitter/X, or send me an email.
P.s. For Swedish readers:
